Now that you've created your profile, you can access all the CCL Community has to offer!
Once you've created your account, we start you with our introductory forum space: an optional ice-breaker forum!!
Step 1: Navigate to the 🧊 totally cool ice-breaker 🧊 Introductory Forum:
Step 2: Share a Post Answering Our Totally Cool Ice-breaker!
To do so, start by clicking anywhere in the 'Start a post' box:
Step 3: Add a title; start typing!!
Once you click 'Start a post', the post editor box will appear:
Create a Catchy Title: Your title will be front-and-center on your new post. Make it count!
Insert body text: Answer the ice-breaker by typing away.
Text edit by using the ' / ' key: This is important!!! To edit within your text body, simply press the slash key / to open up additional formatting options:
Step 4: Add Additional Media.
Use the buttons on the bottom of the Share-post modal to add any additional media.
They are, from left to right:
PLUS ICON | Additional Formatting: the plus icon triggers the formatting window. You can also use the slash key (as mentioned above).
HASHTAG ICON | Add Tags: add any tags that might be relevant to your post. This allows other users to search for your post using the tags you've added.
ATTACHMENT ICON | Add any additional attachments: the CCL Forum currently accepts most primary files types.
PLAY ICON | Embed a video: perhaps you have a video from your Oregon travels you'd like to share; do so using the play button.
GIF ICON | Embed a GIF: is it a soft 'G'? Or is it a hard 'G'? We can't say for sure. But use this icon to upload a GIF.
IMAGE ICON | Add an image: share an image from any device. You'll also notice we've configured the 'Unsplash' stock image library as well. So feel free to browse the Unsplash library to find that perfect photo.
EMOJI ICON | Add an emoji: we love our emojis here at CCL 😅.
GRAPH ICON | Insert a poll: poll other forum users with a single question, or series of questions.
Step 5: Publish Your Post!
Once your post is ready, hit 'Publish' to share:

Step 6: Interact With Others!
See something you 'Like'? Hit that 'like' button. Have something to add? Use the 'Comment' button.
Final Thoughts
Posting and liking others' posts in the forum is worthwhile because it helps us learn from each other. When you share something, others can benefit from your experiences and insights. Similarly, by liking others' posts, you show support and help build a sense of community. It's a simple way to exchange ideas and make connections that can be valuable for everyone involved.
