Overview:

The Career Connected Learning (CCL) Hub in Oregon plays a crucial role in bringing together students, educators, families, caregivers, community-based organizations, and industry partners. It's a collaborative space where ideas and resources that drive career awareness and exploration come to life.

If you've got a resource you believe can contribute to this mission, we have several ways for site visitors to submit resource suggestions. The simplest way, is to e-mail any suggestions to our CCL email: [email protected]. These submissions can even be a couple sentences--or a few words--to communicate your idea. For instance, 'why am I not seeing the Oregon Student Aid site on the hub?! Do better!'

Alternatively, you can use the 'CCL Chat' function to message our team directly. We're available to chat live via Office Hours (Monday-Friday | 9 AM-5 PM), or you can send us a message using CCL Chat after-hours and we'll respond within 24 hours.

We also created a CCL Resource Hub Resource Submission Form via Google Forms. Here's a step-by-step process for submitting a resource request with our form:

Step 1: Access Resource Submission Form.

We have two primary ways of submitting resources. The first option is our CCL Resource Hub Resource Submission Form. This form asks a series of questions about the resource. Fill out as many, or as few of the questions as necessary to communicate your resource submission suggestion.

Step 2: Providing Basic Information:

First, you'll need to fill out some basic information. This includes your email address and your name, title, and organization. This step is crucial as it helps the CCL team understand who is contributing and ensures they can contact you for any follow-up.

Step 3: Describe Your Resource:

Next, you need to describe the resource you are submitting. Be detailed in your description, as this helps the CCL team understand the purpose and content of your resource. If your resource is already online, include a link. If it’s a file, you’ll have an option to upload it.

Step 4: Envisioning Implementation:

The form asks you to suggest how you’d like to see your resource implemented. Options include presenting it as a link on the CCL website, alongside a quick-start guide with supplementary materials, as part of a more extensive module, or something entirely different. Your input here guides the CCL team on how best to integrate your resource into their existing structure.

Step 5: Categorizing Your Resource:

Categorizing your resource within the CCL Domains structure is critical. You can specify whether your resource pertains to awareness, exploration, preparation, training, or other categories. This helps in organizing the resources efficiently and making them easily accessible to the intended audience.

Step 6: Identifying the Creators:

Identify the organization or individuals responsible for creating the resource. This acknowledgment is important for maintaining the integrity and credibility of the resources in the hub.

Step 7: Target Audience:

Specify who the resource is intended for. The options include educators, students, families and caregivers, industry and community partners, among others. This helps in directing the resource to the right audience.

Step 8: Benefits and Barriers:

Discuss how the intended audience might benefit from your resource. Also, consider any barriers these groups might face in using and learning from the resource on the CCL Resource Hub. This feedback is valuable in making the resource more accessible and user-friendly.

Step 9: Future Collaboration:

The form also includes an option for you to express interest in future collaboration with the CCL team. If you’re open to this, describe how you envision this collaboration.

Step 10: Additional Considerations:

Finally, there’s space for any additional considerations or information you think the CCL team should know about your resource.

Final Thoughts.

Thank you for helping to build a resource library that supports the diverse needs of Oregon's learners and educators.
